Is it just me or is a trip to your favorite ski resort becoming a lot like the Disneyland experience?
We’re just getting back to the slopes after a week at that “magic” money magnet and the resemblance between the two is shockingly similar.
In both cases, I find grossly overpriced tickets to wait in excessively long lines for no more than a half-dozen runs at best – not to mention some resorts now making you pay for parking on top of all that?!
Is this a way to limit participation to only those who can afford the sport? If so, that strategy doesn’t appear to have done much to control the crowds still flooding Anaheim.
A popular resort in Utah is even offering a “Fast Tracks” upgrade so you can skip to the front of the line.
Sound familiar?
Welcome to DisneyBird I guess.
